ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF COUNTRY

We pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land where we live, work and play. We honour their Elders, their culture, traditions, and deep connection to THE Country. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as a vital and treasured part of Australia’s identity, and we proudly celebrate their enduring legacy.

COLAPSE is grounded in two pillars:

 

1.Acknowledgment & inclusion of Aboriginal Culture: Smoke ceremony, soundscapes, athlete participation, finish-line welcome

 

2.Military-Inspired Endurance: Structured like tactical drills, with physical and mental testing

 

Because these are deeply integrated into the event, it is envisioned that 

 

-A  First Nation community organization &

 

-A Veteran Support Group

 will be the beneficiaries of donations collected throughout the event.
